FAQ
Know what to expect.
Straight answers about the work, the scope, and what ASO can and cannot promise.
Services & scope
What does ASO Growth do?
We provide four connected services: Store audit, Keyword research & metadata, Creative strategy & testing, and Localization roadmap. Plans include different combinations of these services. Every monthly plan includes a performance review and next-cycle priorities. See the deliverables for each service.
Do you work with the App Store and Google Play?
Yes. Essentials covers one chosen store; Growth and Multi-market cover both stores for one app. We research and draft the relevant fields for each platform rather than reusing identical metadata.
Do you design screenshots or produce videos?
Growth includes one written creative/testing brief per month; Multi-market includes two. These cover screenshot messaging, asset direction, and experiment planning. Essentials does not include creative/testing briefs. Finished graphic design and video production are outside the monthly plans; your designer produces the assets.
Does localization include translation?
No. Multi-market includes a roadmap and research for up to two additional target markets. Professional translation and native-language validation are separate. Your team or language partner reviews localized copy before it is published.
Plans & billing
How do the monthly plans differ?
Essentials starts at $100/month for one store and one primary locale. Growth starts at $300/month, covers both stores in one primary locale, and adds a monthly creative/testing brief. Multi-market starts at $700/month and adds a second brief and research for up to two additional target markets. All prices are in USD. Each plan is for one app and includes monthly performance review. Compare scope and current pricing.
What is a metadata cycle?
One cycle is one research update and one metadata draft set for each included listing, followed by one consolidated revision. All plans include one cycle per month. A listing here means one app on one store in one locale; extra listings or revision rounds require a separate scope.
What is excluded from the service fee?
Ad spend and paid campaign management, graphic design, video production, professional translation, app development, and third-party subscriptions for your team are not included. Any additional work must be agreed in writing before it begins.
How do I start a monthly engagement?
Send your app link, target market, and preferred plan through the contact form. We review the request and confirm availability, deliverables, schedule, fees, payment, renewal, and cancellation arrangements in a written proposal. Work starts after the proposal is agreed and the required inputs are ready.
Can I request a one-off audit or a different scope?
Yes. Send your app link and the work you need help with through the contact form. A one-off audit, additional apps, extra locales, or a different review cadence can be scoped separately; they are not automatically included in a monthly plan.
Measurement & results
Do you guarantee rankings or downloads?
No. Store rankings, installs, conversion, and revenue depend on competition, product quality, traffic, market conditions, and platform decisions. We commit to the agreed research and deliverables, not a guaranteed growth outcome. We do not provide fabricated reviews, ranking manipulation, or purchased installs.
How soon should we expect results?
Delivery dates are agreed after reviewing the app and access requirements. Changes cannot be assessed until they are approved and published. A useful experiment may require more than one monthly cycle, depending on traffic and the size of the effect. We assess progress against the agreed metrics once there is enough data to review.
What happens if we do not have enough traffic for A/B testing?
We prioritize listing clarity, relevant metadata, and measurement readiness. We may recommend postponing an experiment. Before-and-after observations can still inform decisions, but they are not presented as proof that a listing change caused an improvement.
How do you measure progress?
We review available impressions, listing views, installs, conversion, search visibility, and acquisition sources. Where you supply product analytics, we also consider retention or downstream value. Reports distinguish measured changes from assumptions, and include data limitations and next steps.
Getting started
Do you need my account password?
No. Start with your public app link and relevant exports. If account access is needed later, use the platform's role-based invitation with only the permissions required. Never send passwords, API keys, or customer-level personal data through the contact form.
Who publishes changes and runs experiments?
Your team approves and publishes store changes, produces assets, and configures experiments. ASO Growth provides the included drafts, briefs, and analysis. Publishing or test execution is not included unless a separate written scope explicitly adds it.
What should I include in my inquiry?
Share your app or company name, store link, target market, current challenge, and the plan you are considering. If you have a release date or budget range, include it. Please do not include confidential customer records or credentials. Send an inquiry.
Have a question about your app?
Send the store link and your priorities. We can discuss the right scope before you commit.
